Job Description
Bouygues UK have an exciting opportunity for experienced Site Manager - Facade/Roofing. This project will build a £80m ambulatory diagnostic centre at West Middlesex University Hospital (Isleworth). The project includes five storeys of new build, a rooftop plant and a small terrace area, the ground-floor will be a single-storey link corridor to the existing hospital building. This new centre is designed to be an all-electric building. You will initially be based at the Oriel project in the St Pancras area and around September/October move to the site.
Essential Criteria:
Solid experience in Facade/Roofing
Proven involvement in the participation of the design review of the facade before the work starts on site
Prepare scope of work at Tender stage for the envelope package
Experience includes working from tender stage until completion of the package
Knowledge of UK building regulations including UK H&S construction laws and their application
Ability to manage Assistant Site Managers and subcontractors
Main contractor experience
SMSTS, CSCS Black Card (white card also acceptable in some cases) - must be current
Stress Management
High levels of quality standards
Demonstrates strong attention to detail and produces accurate work
Job Purpose and Scope:
Manage interface with various engineering teams and lead a subject to completion. Clarify the technical information, scope of works and interfaces with other trades during the procurement phase. Manage and coordinate all external façade activities, in respect of Health and Safety, Quality and Programme. Manage the costs associated with the works and any variations, should they arise, in liaison with the Site Quantity Surveyors. Lead weekly progress meetings and produce the required timeline of works / action points. Manage the overall façade completion programme.
