Are you someone passionate about managing health, safety and environmental aspects of organisations? Have you had experience of working in a quality-focussed organisation with ISO9001 accreditation? If so WRAP would love to hear from you! We’re experts in making the world a cleaner, longer lasting place – and we’re on a mission to ensure that we do the same for our own processes, offices and systems. We're hiring a SHEQ manager to help guide our SHE matters; ensure we maintain our accreditation to ISO9001 and manage our facilities efficiently.
Our successful candidate will be able to build on very well established SHE management foundations, bringing their knowledge and enthusiasm to ensure that WRAP is fit for the future. You will be part of a small but close-knit Operations team covering our offices in Banbury, Cardiff, Belfast and London.
WRAP is changing quickly; its delivery programmes, its audiences, its funders and its locations. Taking this role on will enable you to be a key part of the 'how'; how we work safely, effectively and according to our continuous improvement culture. You'll also be responsible for driving WRAP towards its hybrid working structure; an unprecedented shift away from 9-5 office working to a balance of home working and in-office collaboration.
We’re looking for someone who has experience of managing SHE functions, within a quality assured environment particularly in the service, education or consulting sectors. You'll be a keen advocate of safe working in continually improving environments and a strong communicator, capable of training and guiding others across a range of roles and settings.
You might be pleased to know that we’ve moved to hybrid working here at WRAP. Although this role is contractually based at one of our offices (Banbury), in reality you will be able to work from home occasionally. If you are invited for an interview, this can be discussed in more detail.
The closing date for this role is Tuesday 22nd June at 23:59. Interviews will be held the week commencing 27th June.
