Job Description

Job Purpose and Scope:

To support the business by advising on the measures required to identify and control quality risks. To raise awareness within the business by communicating best practises.

Accountabilities & Key Tasks
-To ensure that Quality Risks are properly managed for each project (relevant methods know and implemented by the project team.
-Share Knowledge and experience within the business in accordance with the needs of each Department and the available outcomes.
-Assist the business in increasing the level of quality of delivered product.
-Represent the business in local / industry quality forums and develop their social network in order to find new improvement methods.
-To supervise the activities of the business to ensure quality assurance.
-To create, review and / or revise policies that affect processes in the working environment always ensuring they align to company policies and procedures.
-To conduct site audits to review the various processes in the working environment to ensure standards are being followed.
-To regularly communicate with managers across the business to discuss quality control standards according to their function.
-Develop courses to train staff on the Quality Risk Management in order for them to identify the action / resources to be allocated in priority.
-Update a training programme identifying the needs of each department.
-Develop new tools with the business to be more efficient regarding the Quality Risk Management from the Pre-Construction stage to the Post Completion stage.
-Compile analysis of the various quality product from post completion, production, CoW`s Inspection, Customer Survey satisfaction. In order to provide feedback to the Quality Steering Committee on a regular basis and be able to define new actions for the improvement plan.
-Based on the previous quality result, forge relationships between sites by organising workshops in order to improve the quality product.

Essential & Desirable Criteria
-Have a formal qualification in civil construction experience.
-Experience in planning for Identification/Management of Risk.
-Have a recognized knowledge of civil works techniques and best practice.
-Excellent communication skills required.
-15 years of experience with at least 10 years in Quality Management
-9001:2008 - Lead Auditor trained.
-Member of the Institute of Quality Assurance.
-CITB Approved Trainer
-CSCS card Managers & Professionals
-Experience with Nuclear Projects
