Part-Time H&S Officer - Remote

HCUK is a multi-disciplinary environmental consultancy, advising clients on archaeology, heritage, landscape, ecology and arboriculture.  We have previously relied on external Health and Safety advice and would like to bring the position in-house, recruiting a part time H+S Officer becoming our competent advisor.  The role would involve advising on over-arching policy, procedure, approach to risk assessment and staff training.  We seek an individual who understands the role of a consultant, of Health and Safety in a construction environment, and can appreciate the circumstances that might be encountered by both an archaeologist and an ecologist. We seek someone 1x day per week (7.5 hours). The role could be conducted on a set day per week, or the hours split across set days, provided within core company working hours. £35,000 per annum pro rata (£7,000 per annum for 1x day per week).
