Bouygues UK is seeking to recruit a Health & Safety Advisor to support our multiple construction project sites across London and the South East.
Job Purpose and Scope:
Reporting directly to the Health & Safety Manager, you will offer expert knowledge and skills in order to generate and promote a positive health and safety culture.
This represents a key role in helping to control occupational health and safety risk. To ensure Company Health and Safety standards are maintained and adhered to.
Accountabilities and keys tasks:
Responsible for advising management on all safety legislation relevant to their areas of responsibilities.
To help plan, implement, monitor and review the protective and preventative measures that the company are required or choose to follow, and to work to minimise operational losses, occupational health problems, accidents and injuries.
To work under the direction of the Health and Safety Manager.
To assist in carrying health and safety induction, training and toolbox talks.
To inspect and monitor statutory reports, certificates and training certificates.

Who we are looking for:
Relevant Construction Health & Safety experience.
Experience in UK regulations - LOLER, Work at Height, Asbestos, Manual Handling, COSHH, CDM, PUWER 18001.
Training delivery skills and experience.
Masters level in relevant health and safety discipline.
First Aid trained.
