Are you ready to take the next step in your Health and Safety career? We are looking for a proactive and knowledgeable Deputy Health and Safety Manager to join our Estates team to help ensure a safe, compliant and positive environment for all staff, student and visitors across our Campuses.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a values-driven education group, where your expertise will directly support the wellbeing and success of our college community.
You will be required to:
- Support in developing, testing and maintaining the Group’s Incident Management and Business Continuity plans
- Support in the development and delivery of annual programme of Health and Safety training for the Group, such as Fire Safety, Manual Handling, and DSE Assessments
- Monitor national security alerts and guidance, ensuring the Group remains responsive
- Contribute to continuous improvement of Health and Safety policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
- Assist in managing RIDDOR reporting and liaising with HSE/EHO as required

You will have:
- GCSEs in Maths and English A*-C/9-4 or equivalent
- NEBOSH Certificate
- Membership of IOSH or actively working towards
- Full clean UK driving licence – as travel between sites will be required
- First Aid at Work qualification, or willingness to achieve
- ISO9001 – Internal Auditor, or willingness to achieve
